If there’s a simpler way to express your idea, try it out. Chances are, readers will appreciate a book that is easy and enjoyable to read.  

Break your edits down into smaller, manageable tasks. Keeping editing tasks separate will help ensure you’re not re-doing work too!

Do you keep having to reread some of your sentences? Take those big sentences (that may technically be correct), and chop them in two.

Always lookout for new ways to do it! Don’t let your writing or your brain stagnate – find new processes, writing methods, style, or advice.
